We met at PVCC's Casino Night, which also happened to be my birthday (Kevin). I told Karen to give me a hug as a "Birthday Present." We spent some time together and discovered that we were taking the same classes with different professors. We began spending more time together trying to help each other, and our connection grew to the point where we began to help each other not just as classmates but also as friends.

We decided to have dinner at the restaurant where we had our first date on Valentine's Day. Kevin was anxious the entire night, to the point that he didn't even speak to me. At the end of the meal, he surprised me with a reservation at a hotel directly across the street from the restaurant. When we arrived at the hotel, there were many flowers and champagne waiting for us. Kevin invited me to stand in the center of a heart created with rose petals on the floor, and while we were there, he read something that he wrote for me. When he was finished, he bent down on one knee, took a gorgeous ring from his pocket, and proposed. I was so excited that I couldn't stop laughing, and at one point I scream YES!! and we were engaged! We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
