Through the Years
The newlyweds-to-be met when Karen was a Freshman & Evan was just beginning his Junior year at Michigan State University. Karen was assigned Evan as her mentor through a business organization (MBP) on campus and from there they become good friends. Through the years post college, they remained friends and when their paths crossed again in Texas in 2016, they jumped at the opportunity to see what a future would be like together. Sure enough, this was God's intention all along. After much prayer, guidance and support from both families, Evan proposed to Karen on the morning of September 19, 2020 overlooking the most scenic place in Austin - Mount Bonnell.
