We met on June 30, 2025, while both visiting Florida — he was there with a friend, and I was visiting my sister. What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something much deeper. We talked about faith — about church, our values, and our shared love for Jesus Christ. Before the day ended, we exchanged numbers. The very next day, we went on our first coffee date. Two weeks later, Dean came to visit me in Chicago. Three weeks after that, I traveled to Massachusetts to visit him.
