We both have conflicting stories on how we met. During April and May of 2015, we ran into each other several times at intermural games, fraternity events, and the occasional night out on fry street. There is not one agreed-upon instance of when we actually met, but there was one particular interaction that both of us will remember forever. In April of 2015, my dad told me that I wasn't technically fired from Cima, but I needed to find a new job that summer. I started looking for an on-campus job at UNT and ended up applying for the Director of Leadership and Development for the Student Government Association. Adam Alattry, the incoming SGA president, informed me that I had been requested to interview with him and the new SGA VP, Christopher Lee. Chris's name sounded familiar, and up until that point, I had heard "mixed reviews" about him from mutual friends. As the interview began in the student activities building, I started to get nervous! Chris looked pretty handsome and asked some tough questions. I left the interview thinking it went well, but very unsure if I got the position. As I walked out of the student activities building, I passed by the outside window of the interview room where Chris and Adam were still sitting. I looked into the window the same moment Chris looked up from his laptop, and our eyes met. My stomach filled with butterflies, and it was pretty much all over from there.
