The wedding location will take place in Varenna, Italy. Since there are no airports in Varenna, we recommend you book your flights into one of Milan’s airports. Varenna is about an hour shuttle ride away or two hour train ride away. If booking the shuttle, Karen can assist with booking.
The Wedding will take place on September 8, 2026 at 2:15pm. We kindly advise that you travel on Saturday September 5 to arrive on time for all of the pre wedding activities. For the wedding day, we will start in Varenna and travel by boat to Villa Del Balbianello where the ceremony will take place. After the ceremony we will travel by boat again to Relais Villa Vittoria where we will have dinner.
Our dress code is Black Tie. Ladies: Please wear floor-length gowns in vibrant colors. Kindly avoid neutral tones, dull shades, dark colors, and reds. For inspiration, see the “links” section on our wedding website. Men: A tuxedo or formal suit paired with dress shoes is requested.
Since we’ll be enjoying pre-wedding and post-wedding festivities together, we’ve decided to keep the guest list intimate and cannot accommodate plus ones. Unfortunately, this applies to both the wedding day and the entire trip.
We love that you're excited to celebrate with us— and we're so grateful you're making the trip! Because this is an intimate wedding with a very limited guest list, we've had to make some difficult decisions. Unless your invitation specifically includes a plus one, we kindly ask that you attend solo for the entire celebration, including all events before and after the wedding day. This isn't just a one-day ceremony-it's a multi-day experience with events carefully planned for our closest loved ones. We truly appreciate your understanding as we keep things small, intentional, and meaningful.
We recommend two hotels in Varenna, “Albergó Milano Varenna” or “Hotel Olivedo”.
We feel incredibly lucky to have you join us for our destination wedding. Your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for. We kindly request no gifts.

The pre-wedding festivities are the welcome dinner on September 7, 2026. We will begin the dinner by taking a taxi boat ride around the lake and finish it off by having dinner at “Bar il molo” be sure to dress in yellow or blue to match the theme. We are so grateful that you are joining us, to show our gratitude we are covering all expenses associated with this experience.
The post wedding activities will take place in Mykonos Greece. In order to get there we will need to take a short flight from Milan over to Mykonos. The first post wedding activity will take place at “Negrita Bar” in Mykonos September 9th at 10pm. The 2nd event will take place at “Tropicana Beach Club” in Mykonos on September 10th starting at 3pm. To show our gratitude, both bottle service experiences will be covered by us.
