- San Francisco International (SFO) or Oakland International (OAK): These are the best options for a wider variety of flight times and international travel. Both are approximately 60ā90 minutes from Sonoma, depending on Bay Area traffic.
Pro Tip: If you fly Alaska Airlines, you can often check a case of wine for free on your flight home!
š Getting to Sonoma
- Car Rentals: This is the most flexible way to explore the region! You can uber between wineries in Sonoma if your entire party would like to enjoy tastings.
- Rideshare: Uber and Lyft are widely available. A ride from SFO/OAK typically costs between $100ā$150.
Note on Traffic: If you are driving from the airport on Saturday afternoon, please allow extra time as wine country traffic is very real!
