Things To Do & Places To Eat

The Wedding Website of Karen Burfening and Alex Legrand
LOS CABOS Many destinations claim to have something for everyone but it's actually true of Los Cabos. For sport fishers, Cabo is the bill fishing capital of the world. For golfers, the ocean-view championship courses are a linksman's dream. And when the sun does go down, the nightlife in Cabo San Lucas entertains for days. Whether you enjoy being pampered in a spa, indulging in five-star cuisine, or exploring the land by camel, the sea by kayak and the sky by zipline, members of all ages and interests will find endless options. No stranger to travelers in search of luxury, Los Cabos has been catering to Hollywood's elite since the 1970s.
Arch of Cabo San Lucas

Arch of Cabo San Lucas

Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico

The rock formations at Land's End, known as El Arco, are the most iconic sights in the Cabo landscape. Rent an ocean kayak and paddle out to view them and the resident sea lions. Or try a water taxi or cruise; most outfitters make a stop there. Rent some jet skis on the beach and I dare you to try to go under the arch!

Hit the Surf

Hit the Surf

Hit the Surf Surfers, the swells are best in summer months, when tropical storms kick up giant waves. For Zippers, Mile 17 on the Cabo Corridor is a great spot, but it's not for beginners. For gentler swells, try the breaks at Old Man's, La Roca and Acapulquito.

Todos Santos

Todos Santos

Todos Santos, BCS, Mexico

This sleepy little surf town north of Los Cabos is a pretty 45-minute drive along the Pacific side of the peninsula. If you're craving a change of scenery, head north to Todos Santos. Visit the infamous Hotel California and savor a meal at the establishment's Italian restaurant. Then it's off to shop amongst the artsy, new-age galleries and boutiques.

Sport Fishing

Sport Fishing

Sport Fishing: Trophy Catches. Los Cabos is home to the highest paying sport fishing tournament in the world for good reason. The rich waters of the Sea of Cortez support a robust marine life that includes trophy-sized Marlin, Tuna, Dorado, Wahoo, and Sailfish. Private charters offer the opportunity to fish like the pros, customize the length of your trip and even target the specific fish of your choice.
