Based on the current SC guidelines our venue, The Cedar Room, can operate at 50% of their capacity at 250 people, normally 500 people. To ensure there is ample space for social distancing and our guests feel comfortable on Friday and Saturday, we decided to drastically reduce the size of our wedding and expect roughly 50 guests.
Our ceremony and reception will be held inside at The Cedar Room and the cocktail hour will be outside in the courtyard. Hand sanitizer will be provided for all guests. While masks are not required and we will not be wearing them, we encourage each of you to make this decision for yourself. The catering staff and our vendors will be wearing masks. If you have specific questions about seating arrangements please reach out to Karen and Adam.
The beach party will be entirely outside. The house has a large backyard and is located directly on the beach. We’ve arranged to have chairs and umbrellas set up on the beach so that people can spread out for even more space! Again, the bartenders and catering staff will be wearing masks. There will be no formal seating to allow people to move around and socially distance as they see fit.
We love each of you and your safety is our top priority. We ask that each guest be tested for COVID within one week of the wedding weekend. If you receive a positive test or if you are feeling ill at any point, we kindly ask that you please stay home.
