Rent a Kayak, Paddleboard, or Swan Boat and enjoy the river! The Austin Rowing dock is walking distance from Rainey Street with kayak and paddleboards available.
Barton Springs Municipal Pool
Take a dip at Barton Springs, a natural spring turned into a pool overlooking the Austin skyline.
South Congress
Head to our neighborhood South Congress, for lots of unique shops, restaurants, and the famous "I Love You So Much" mural.
Go Two-Stepping
While Austin is not as "country" as the rest of Texas, if you're looking for a two-step honky tonk, head to The White Horse on East 6th (close to many other bars and restaurants) or the legendary Broken Spoke for Two Step lessons (arrive by 7:30pm to sign up for Two Step lessons, available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings)
