“Yes” to Forever!

Jordan - "I went to the movies with 2 of my closest friends. They invited their friend Kareim to join us afterwards. As we hang out, Kareim invites me to a picnic he is having in Brooklyn with his friends that weekend. I told him I wasn't familiar with the subway, so he offered to pick me up from the train and we could go together. We meet up around 1:30. We hop on the subway and stop at some stores along the way to get snacks. We arrive at the park around 3 and assume everyone would pull up shortly. Kareim tried to contact his friends who lived in Jersey to see what time they planned to arrive. In the meantime, we talked, listened to music and played some games to pass the time. Shockingly, no one came until 5:30 but I met so many nice new friends and had a great day. I lost track of time and realized it was almost 11. We all headed back to the city to catch our trains. I noticed Kariem started to worry because he realized that everyone would miss their train and the next train wasn't until 2am. Despite the cost, he took it upon himself to ensure everyone got home safely and bought about 5 Ubers to get them back to Jersey. It gave me an example of his core values and what's most important to him. It showed me that he didn't mind putting himself in an uncomfortable position if it meant that the people he loved around him were taken care of. He offered to buy mine first, but I could tell he may have been in is head worrying or overthinking and I didn't want to leave without making sure he was okay. I got home at 12:46. I let him know when I was home safely. He thanked me for having his back that night. Starting then, Sept. 5, 2022, we wouldn't go more than 2 weeks without hanging out for the next 3 years! After a little over a year of friendship we realized we wanted to pursue a life together. Kareim asked me out exactly 1 year and 3 months after we met, on January 5, 2024. Through all of our time together Kareim has truly become my best friend, and I am so excited to spend forever by his side." Kareim - "We met on Memorial Day of 2022. One of our mutual friends invited me to join them after their movie. Shortly after introduction to each other our playful banter began as if we were long time friends. I invited Jordan to a Friends Picnic the following weekend. Jordan wasn't familiar navigating MTA trains, so I offered to pick her up and take her. That day was filled with delay and chaos. We grabbed snacks and arrived at the Picnic on time, while friends traveling from jersey arrived over 2 hours late. Ridiculous! We made the best use of the time becoming more acquainted and telling stories and playing games. At the conclusion of the day, I felt very worried and stressed. Jordan noticed. We were under a time crunch, and I wanted all of my jersey friends to arrive home at a decent time. Unfortunately, most of our friends missed their scheduled train going home. I offered to send everyone home in an Uber. Jordan chose to be sent home last and stick by my side through the stress. She ensured I was okay. That meant a lot to me. She showed me something no one else had. I'll never forgot how that moment made me feel. From that day on we hung out consistently, just about every 2 weeks, FOR 3 YEARS! From spending hours on the phone, deep and hilarious conversations, to spontaneous adventures, constant group activities, Citi bikes, train rides, and so much more. We truly began as friends and only that, however as time progressed, we knew there was something more, something special. Through time, we learned more about each other and created natural chemistry that was undeniable. I was drawn to Jordan's charm, thoughtfulness, nurturing care, and joyful personality. On January 5th, 2024, I asked Jordan to be my girlfriend. I couldn't let the diamond I had found go. We bring out the best in each other. The rest is history, and we are so happy to finally become ONE on our special day. All thanks to Jehovah guiding us each step.

Custom-made & designed with intention and love. The vine setting and diamond leaf accents were chosen because of Jordan's love for nature and creation. The beautiful words of Psalms 128:3, 4 - "Your wife will be like a fruitful vine within your house" fit perfectly. I wanted the ring to hold value and meaning and truly capture what My Love embodies. Engraved within the ring states, "Love Never Fails" from 1 Corinthians 13:4-8. A reminder of the unconditional power of love, only possible with Jehovah God.
