When and where do I RSVP?

What if I can’t make it?

You will be missed, but we completely understand. Please RSVP “no” as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.

Where am I going?
Answer
Both our ceremony and reception will be held at the Miller Sunset Venue (4701 N CR 1900 Lubbock TX 79415).

Can I bring a guest?
Answer
Although we would love to offer a plus one to all guests, we have a strict guest list to meet our venue restrictions. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Can I bring kids to the wedding?
Answer
While we love your little ones, we’ve decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration with the exception of the children in the wedding party. We hope you can enjoy a fun night out with us! Thank you for understanding!

Where should I stay?
Answer
While we do not have hotel room blocks reserved, there are many hotels and Airbnb’s available very close to the venue. Please see our page on Travel for suggestions and more information.

What time should I arrive?

Please plan on arriving at 3:30 pm to give yourself time to find a seat before the ceremony begins at 4:00.

Is there parking available?
Answer
Yes! Parking will be to the right as you come into the entrance (there will be signs and ushers) and you will park facing the field.

What should I wear?
Answer
Our wedding will be semi-formal attire. Think cocktail dresses, midi or maxi dresses, dressy jumpsuits, or suits and dress shirts with slacks (ties optional). Dress to impress, but make sure you’re comfortable enough to celebrate with us all night long!

What will the weather be like in Lubbock in early June?
Answer
Early June in Lubbock typically brings warm, sunny days with temperatures averaging in the mid-80s to low 90s during the day and cooler evenings in the 60s to 70s. We recommend dressing for warm weather and bringing a light layer just in case the evening gets breezy.

Italian Garden will be providing several dishes to choose from: (All options served with bread and salad) Spaghetti with meat sauce Fettuccini Alfredo Baked Ziti Tortellini alla Panna *If you have a food allergy / dietary restriction that was not accommodated by the meal options, please contact Kara or Trevor directly to let us know.

Will there be alcohol at the wedding?
Answer
Our wedding will be BYOB, so feel free to bring your favorite drinks to enjoy during the celebration! We’ll have two large coolers available for your BYOB drinks, so there’s no need to bring your own cooler. We’ll provide ice and plenty of non-alcoholic options to keep the party going. Cheers!

Will I be able to take photos during the ceremony?
Answer
We are having an unplugged ceremony, which means we kindly ask that all phones and cameras be put away so you can be fully present with us during this special moment. However, we encourage you to capture the fun and excitement throughout the reception! After the ceremony, feel free to use the Wedding Photo Swap app to share your photos and memories from the rest of the celebration. We can’t wait to see the night through your eyes!

1. Scan the QR Code – Upon arrival, scan the QR code located on your invitation, signage, or table cards to access our shared wedding photo album. 3. Take & Upload Photos – Once you’re in the album, feel free to snap away! Upload any photos you take throughout the day for everyone to enjoy. 4. Enjoy the Memories – Browse and relive the fun through everyone’s photos after the wedding! Thank you for helping us capture every moment of our special day!
