In March 2011, we met unexpectedly in our high-school medical room at school, found excuses to talk to each other, car rides, McDonalds, birthday parties and little you know we started growing towards each other. From a video call far to a doorstep away, in 2015 Pruthvi moved to Berkeley and Karan graduated to live in San Francisco. Our lives fast-forwarded as we spent beautiful times hiking, traveling, cooking, and enjoying the simplicity of our daily lives. Little you know, we fast-forwarded from being sofar away to being so close every day.
As with the story of every immigrant, Pruthvi had to leave for India in 2017 due to work visa issues While Skype let us down, we turned up the Whatsapp game. The next year was momentous in defining our relationship in the long-term as we had to part ways again. Little you know, on October 9th, 2018, we proposed in Bodrum, Turkey on a memorable trip and celebrated ourselves with a small engagement ceremony right after with our families.
We were in full gear to start our lives in 2018. Unfortunately, life never plays out the way it seems. But what held together was our bond, strength, emotional will and support for each other. Both of us grew together beautifully and practically to who we are today. And that's what we will need for the rest of our lives...
