We’re so excited to celebrate our wedding with the people we love most. For nearly nine years, Maine has been our place — where the pace slows, the air smells like pine and salt, and summer feels endless. We’ve wandered through Acadia’s trails, shared beers in Portland, eaten fresh lobster by the water, and traced the coastline with the windows down, a Stephen King novel tucked in the backseat. On our most recent trip north, during a road trip along the coast, Matt proposed with a necklace for our dachshund, Levee, that read “Will you marry my dad?” — and of course, Kara said yes. Now, we’re returning to the place that’s held so many of our favorite memories to begin our next chapter — surrounded by good food, laughter, and all of you, under the wide Maine sky.
