FAQs

Question

Is this going to be a traditional wedding?

Answer

No! Both Kara and Seth are not religious. This wedding will be very non traditional, with a private ceremony, no religion, no wedding party, and no speeches. Just a fun party!

Question

I want to bring a plus one, what do I do?

Answer

We are having a small, intimate wedding. Please contact Seth or Kara directly to make arrangements to see if this is possible, but please note we may not be able to accommodate your request due to capacity limitations.

Question

Can I bring my children to the wedding reception?

Answer

Yes, children are welcome if they are listed on your invitation. Please note this wedding will be primarily adult-oriented and there will only be a small number of children in attendance. If you have any questions, contact Kara and Seth.

Question

Can I bring my pet to the wedding?

Answer

Most Disney hotels are not pet-friendly although some exceptions apply, please visit Disney World's resort pages to learn more. If you are looking for pet boarding, check out Best Friends Pet Care.

Question

How do I contact Kara and Seth?

Answer

Please email us at karaandsethweddingack@gmail.com if you have additional questions.

Question

How do I get to Disney World?

Answer

The easiest way is to fly in to Orlando International Airport (MCO), which is about 30 minutes away from Disney World. We usually take an Uber to our hotel, as it is the easiest and fastest option, but there are other options on the Travel page.

Question

Where can I stay at Disney World?

Answer

We have created a Room Block for guests. The bride and groom will be staying at the Beach Club Resort, a Disney Deluxe Resort. Most events will be in close proximity to that hotel, within just a few minutes of walking distance. We have blocked off rooms at the Beach Club for guests, but acknowledging that it is expensive, we have also blocked off rooms at the Caribbean Beach, a Moderate Resort, and Pop Century, a Value Resort. Both these hotels have access to the Skyliner, an aerial gondola that takes people to EPCOT's International Gateway entrance, which is only a few minutes walk from the Beach Club entrance. The Skyliner is free for all guests. It should be easy to get to events even if you choose not to stay at the Beach Club. More details on each hotel and how to book can be found on our Travel page. You can also consider a Split Stay, spending some nights at one hotel and the rest at another. This can be a fun way to experience multiple properties and also a way to save money. You have access to resort amenities on both check-in and check-out dates. Disney Bell Services transfer your luggage from one hotel to the other for you, making it easy. Contact Kara and Seth if you are considering this or check out helpful articles online.

Question

How do I access the Theme Parks?

Answer

There are four theme parks at Disney World; Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Hollywood Studios, and Animal Kingdom. Each is fun and unique in its own way! Separate admission is required; however, as part of our wedding, guests will be able to purchase both discounted and/or prorated tickets. Guests can take advantage of pre-arrival savings on Walt Disney World® Theme Park Tickets that include the Park Hopper® Option. To purchase tickets, please call (407) 827-6799 or visit https://disneyurl.com/Weddings. Theme park reservations are not required for multi-day date-based tickets. For other admission types, including non-dated tickets, theme park reservations may be required. Guests may check which admission types require park reservations by visiting DisneyWorld.com/ThemeParkReservations. Please check reservation availability prior to ticket purchase. Guests may also take advantage of partial day theme park tickets. Guests can enjoy single-day admission to one theme park after 1pm or after 5pm. To purchase partial day tickets, please call (407) 827-6799. See the Things To Do page for more information.

Question

How can I make and manage plans at Disney World for my time outside of the wedding events?

Answer

The first step is to make a My Disney Experience account online. You may also download the MyDisneyExperience mobile app to access your plans and park information on the go. Guests will need a valid theme park admission and if applicable a park reservation to enter the Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Please make sure to link your resort reservation and Walt Disney World Theme Park Tickets to your My Disney Experience Account. 60 days prior to arrival, you will be able to book dining reservations through the mobile app or website.

Question

Do you have other dining recommendations?

Answer

Disney World has hundreds of restaurants, falling into three basic categories; Table Service, Quick Service, and Snack Booths. Reservations are recommended for Table Service restaurants and can be made 60 days in advance, in the My Disney Experience app or online. If you are looking for suggestions some of Kara and Seth's favorites are Sebastian's Bistro (Caribbean Beach Resort), Trattoria al Forno (BoardWalk), The Boathouse Orlando (Disney Springs), Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen (Magic Kingdom), Chefs de France (EPCOT), The Hollywood Brown Derby (Hollywood Studios), and Yak & Yeti (Animal Kingdom).

Question

What do I do if I have food allergies or restrictions?

Answer

Disney's chefs do an amazing job of curating food for events for people who have allergies or dietary restrictions in mind. Please wait for the formal invitation to let us know about any allergies or restrictions you may have. Also note, the wedding reception will be a brunch with specialty food stations and not a plated meal.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

Thank you for considering giving us a gift. We have all the physical items we can possibly need (in fact we are trying to clear out some things right now). Your presence is the best gift of all, but if you do want to do something more, check out our Registry tab to see our Newlywed and Charity Funds.

Question

Where can I find more trip planning resources about Disney World?

Answer

Check out Disney Tourist Blog online, they have articles on everything you want to know!
