Is there a dress code?

Answer

Please dress casual but classy. No jeans or t-shirts. Comfortable shoes with wide heels recommended. The ceremony is a five minute walk from parking and you will be walking on gravel, grass, and wood chips.

Can I bring a date?

All guests will be listed on the formal invitation. We are unable to accommodate additional guests.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Our wedding takes place on beautiful Lake Michigamme where most local accommodations are airbnb, vrbo, and private cabin rentals. Within an hour drive, more robust lodging options are available in Marquette, L'Anse, or Iron Mountain.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes. Food at our wedding will be tree nut, soy, and sesame free. There will be vegetarian options available. Please reach out with any other allergies.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Limited parking for the ceremony is available at the entrance to camp which will be clearly marked. We ask that you carpool when available and park additional vehicles in town at the reception. There is ample street parking around the reception.

Will there be alcohol at the reception?

Answer

No. We do not drink and we know most of our guests will have to drive an hour home after the reception so we have chosen to have a dry wedding. Drinks available will include soda, tea and lemonade. We will toast with sparkling cider.
