Andrew and I technically met in 2012 while we both worked at Sears. I was really shy and we worked in completely different areas, so we didn’t talk much until I was leaving my job at Sears. One day Andrew friended me on Facebook and we started talking in messages about music. As we began to know each other better, Andrew gave me his number and asked me to be in a band with him and a friend. We began texting everyday, casually hanging out, and going to Coney Island. Andrew drew me his interpretation of “Poision Oak” which was a yellow bird. I completely misinterpreted the painting and thought Andrew just wanted to be friends! Andrew eventually told me the real meaning in the painting and asked me to be his girlfriend. We’ve been together ever since the summer of 2013 and look forward to tying the knot and growing old together.
