Blake and Karah met when they were 16, through Blake’s god sister. They went to different high schools, but Blake would sometimes hang out with Karah’s friend group. They got along great, but did not maintain contact towards the end of high-school and start of college. In 2018, Karah and Blake began their second year at Chattanooga State Community College. They were surprised to discover they had received the same community service scholarship that required them both to be tutors. They spent many hours in the tutoring hall together, where they learned they were both engineering majors! Their connection grew as the school year went on. They would often go to lunch and get coffee together between classes. In 2019, Blake asked Karah on their first official date! They went to Old Chicago in Hixson, where they shared a pizza. From that moment on they were attached at the hip.

January 19, 2025 was Blake and Karah’s 6 year dating anniversary. Blake planned an entire day for them. He talked Karah into dressing up to go to brunch at Hello Monty in Chattanooga and then took her to Point Park to take photos with the view. He bought a tripod for his phone and set up to take anniversary pictures. He then got down on one knee and proposed! Karah happily said “ of course ”! Following the proposal, they went to the theatre and saw “ The wolf-man ” and then enjoyed a nice dinner. Blake then revealed he had planned a trip to the Kentucky Castle for us with a booked engagement photoshoot.
