Northport
Situated near the tip of the Leelanau Peninsula, Northport overlooks Grand Traverse Bay and is home to a marina, shops, restaurants, beaches, wineries, and the Grand Traverse Lighthouse.
Leland
The cutest beach town and only 10-15 minutes away from our venue. Some local favorite spots are the Riverside Inn restaurant, the Dam Candy Store, the Village Cheese Shanty (sandwiches), Leland Harbor House (Ice cream) and walking around the pier. Check out Verterra Winery - our venue's main location for some great wines and ciders!
Suttons Bay
Another beautiful area! Locals recommend renting bikes from Suttons Bay Bikes. Mundos is a great coffee place in Suttons Bay, and the drive up from Traverse City has beautiful views of the bay!
Downtown Traverse City
From the State Theatre to Brilliant Books, Red Ginger to Morsels, the Open Space to the downtown beaches, there's tons of shopping, food, and experiences to be had in downtown TC.
Pyramid Point Trailhead
A short hike to the most stunning view of Lake Michigan! Highly recommend.
Mission Point Lighthouse
A beautiful drive down Old Mission Peninsula ends at this state park, where you can walk around the lighthouse and down the beach. Stop by some of the wineries along the drive!
Empire Bluff Trail
An easy hike for some stunning views of Lake Michigan and the dunes!
Good Harbor Bay Beach
One of the many beautiful beaches in the area, with amazing sand and great sunsets!
