Maid of Honor
Maddy has been William’s favorite sister as long as she’s been alive! She and Kara were fast friends, despite William’s insistence they not love each other more than they love him. Maddy is most excited to dance with Kara to Beyoncé at the reception and embarrass William with her Maid of Honor speech.
Best Man
The man, the myth, the reason Kara and William met. He was writing his best man speech for this wedding over 2 years before the engagement happened. Bergmann may be the only man to love Stag beer as much as William and Kara both do. As William’s best man, he would like it to be known that welding is defined as the marriage of two pieces of metal through intense heat via electric arc, torch flame, etc. He looks forward to seeing which means of fusion will be used to join Kara and William on their welding day.
Bridesmaid
Lindsey and Kara have been in a life-long battle to be the shortest Mank alive (Kara is currently in the lead at 5’0). Sisters and friends, there is a good chance Kara will someday borrow Lindsey’s bridesmaids dress to wear on a date night with William. Lindsey is excited to eat a ton of food at the reception and then show off her food baby while she gets down on the dance floor with friends and family.
Groomsman
Spencer and Willis graduated as electrical engineers together and tried their best to work at the same company. Sadly, they do not share an office but they do share a love of motorcycles and computers. Spencer is excited to take bets on whether Kara or Willis will drink more Stag beers.
Bridesmaid
Katelyn and Kara’s friendship dates back to Freshman marching band at FCHS more than 10 years ago. If you asked either of their respective parents, you wouldn’t be able to figure out which one was the bad influence on the other. The two share a love of wine, true crime podcasts, and each other’s success. Katelyn is most looking forward to drinking Kara under the table to celebrate the day with her friends.
Groomsman
Devin and Kara are in the midst of a heated battle to be Barb and Scott’s favorite future child-in-law. He and William bonded over a mutual love of video games and ganging up on Maddy and Kara. Devin is looking forward to someone explaining to him “what the hell a wedding party bio is”.
Bridesmaid
Kara’s oldest friend and biggest fan, Sierra never fails to share words of wisdom and wine-tipsy cheers when Kara needs them. Their friendship proves time and again that distance and time can’t come between two people who love and support each other unconditionally. Sierra is thrilled about the opportunity to legally drink with Kara, sweat her butt off on the dance floor, and admire the dragon-themed decor Kara is sure to use.
Groomsman
Kevin is Kara’s favorite brother who can always be counted on to eat unwanted leftovers from her fridge. At any given moment, you might find Kara and Kevin breaking out into a High School Musical duet or making fun of Lindsey and Lauren like it’s their job. He is most looking forward to enthusiastically leading whatever line dances the DJ plays, and he would like to thank whoever is going to drive him home in advance!
Bridesmaid
Kara and Christine love each other as deeply as their cats hate each other. After meeting in an 8:00 AM Biology course in college, they bonded over a mutual appreciation of breakfast food and wearing pajamas. They moved in together within 6 months of meeting and have lived in each others’ hearts ever since. Christine is excited to accept William into her and Kara’s marriage.
Groomsman
If you ask Logan, Kara and William are THE BEST people he has ever known. As are the rest of the wedding party. As are everyone else in attendance at the wedding. By far Kara and William’s most loving and lovable friend, Logan has been a ray of sunshine in both their lives. At the wedding, Logan is looking forward to sharing Kara and Willis's biggest day with all their friends, family, and favorite party go'ers!
Bridesmaid
Sam gets Kara’s vote for Best Dancer and Most Likely to Be Friends With Michelle Obama Someday. Kara has gained 80% of her self-confidence in the past few years just from Sam’s constant compliments and praise alone. As a future chemical engineer, there is a good chance she had some input on the selection of alcohol served at the reception. Sam is very excited to drink and dance entirely more than a dignified lady should.
Groomsman
Dan excels at organizing parties and sending the best memes to his friends. If you have the privilege of talking to him at the wedding, be sure to ask him which OSHA safety standards the event has not met. He is both Kara and William’s go-to friend for enthusiastic Game of Thrones debates and chicken wing recommendations. Dan is looking forward to making memories he will most certainly forget later in the night.
