Is there parking at West Dennis Yacht Club?

Answer

There is very limited parking at West Dennis Yacht Club (WDYC). Please utilize Uber or Lyft or the complimentary bus from the Blue Bird Hotel. If you do drive and there are no more parking spots once you arrive, you can park at the West Dennis Beach Parking Lot down the street, just be sure to not leave your car over night! Even if you are not staying at the Blue Bird, you can still utilize our complimentary bus by parking at or Ubering to the Blue Bird Hotel and taking the bus to and from there!

Will there be food provided at the Welcome Party?

Answer

Yes, there will be a light appetizers and snacks provided in case anyone has been traveling from far away and has not eaten yet!

Is there transportation to and from the hotel?

Answer

There will be a complimentary bus service leaving from the Blue Bird Hotel at 4:45 PM to arrive for Cocktail Hour at 5 PM at WDYC. After the reception, busses will be departing from WDYC at 10:00 PM to the Blue Bird Hotel. The busses will be making a pit stop at the After Party Bar for guests if interested. There will not be complimentary transportation provided after the After Party at the end of the night. There will be no transportation provided for the ceremony.

Can I bring a plus one or kids?

Answer

We are at capacity with our venue which means we are sadly unable to accommodate additional guests. All invited guests will be clearly stated on your invitation and RSVP.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Welcome drinks and Brunch will be Cape Cod/ Summer Casual (such as sun dresses & golf shirts). Wedding Ceremony and Reception will be Cocktail attire.

Do you have suggestions for restaurants or bars to visit in between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

If you are interested in staying in the area close to the Church, we recommend visiting the Woodshed, Ocean Edge, Scargo Cafe, or Chapins Bayside. If you are interested in making your way towards WDYC, we recommend Chapins Fish and Chips, The Ocean House Beach Bar, or The Sand Bar (which is right around the corner to WDYC!).

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will be starting promptly at 2 PM. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to ensure you are seated and ready for the ceremony to begin on time.

Is the After Party only for 21 and up?

Answer

Yes, the After Party Bar is 21 years + only. The bar will strictly enforce. If you have an out of state license, please be sure to bring two forms of identification.
