Ryan once listed Ross as a reference. The inquirer called Ross and asked him "how long have you known each other?" Ross answered "since I was born." Once brothers, always brothers. Two peas in a pod since grade school, Kara and Courtney spent every waking moment together. Once their parents said yes to them and Kara's brother trying online school, it meant constant sleepovers, movie marathons and all-day hangouts to Panda Express. More like sisters, they are also sisters in Christ. Embarking on an adventure together in Nashville, they finally got to be roommates like they always dreamed of! Courtney has a chocolate lab named Forrest, works at Warby Parker and is dating Kara's friend from college, Terrence!

Meeting post-college as random roommates, Kristen a.k.a. “Bacon” and Kara quickly found that they had the same taste in sarcasm, love for IPA’s and wine, music, and shared a passion for having a great time!! You could say they are “the life of the party” whenever they’re together. They even had a fun debate once about who is more talented - Lady Gaga or Cardi B. It’s never a dull moment! Bacon is a super supportive friend and cheers Kara on at her singing events (sometimes, even background dancing or singing backup vocals)! Now working as a business manager at Marriott, Bacon is headed to graduate school and lives in Nashville with her doggie, Nora!

A part-time comedian and beauty extraordinaire, Sierra came into Kara's life two years ago and nothing has been the same! The two quickly became lifelong friends. Both fashion lovers, borderline shopaholics, and foodies, they can always count on each other to say "yes" to dessert! Recently moving to Nashville from FL, Sierra works as a cosmetologist and is plotting her future purchase of her one true love - a Frenchie dog. P.S. Sierra has a thing for best men at weddings a.k.a Ryan McCorkle ;)
Bridesman
Where to begin?! Kara and Garrett met as a result of Ross living in the same house as Garrett and other groomsman, Sam. It would be an understatement to say that the two became fast friends! After bonding over musical inspirations and a passion to make a difference in the world, they quickly became like brother and sister. Since meeting last year, they’ve written and recorded music together and created too many inside jokes to count! Garrett is an entrepreneur, dabbling in music and book writing in his free time from his main life mission - traveling the world as a speaker in the mental health field.

Kara and Anna met in church youth group, where they OFTEN got in trouble for laughing uncontrollably at the most inappropriate times. They bonded over their love of indie music and curiosity about life outside of their small community. It was on a mission trip to Mexico where they really “misbehaved.” There’s no shortage of hilarious memories, from sniffing markers during arts & crafts to reaching a delirium-inspired belly laugh during a prayer circle (sorry, Pastor Adam!) To this day, Kara’s Mom claims that “no one else can make Kara laugh quite like Anna Fricker.” That’s still true. Living apart since the start of college, they’ve kept in touch over the years. It’s like no time has passed when they talk. Anna lives in Jacksonville and works at Community Hospice and loves what she does!
Bridesmaid
Kara's cousin, Chelsea, has been a big part of her life from the time she can remember! Chelsea, Kara and Kara's older brother, Chace, kept each other company at every family holiday event. Attending Chelsea's softball games and weightlifting competitions are some of Kara's favorite memories from growing up. Living far apart meant they didn't get to see each other as much as they wanted, but every time they see each other, it's like no time has passed at all! Chelsea works in computer technology and lives in FL with her pup and amazing partner, Erin!
Bridesmaid
Neighbors and best friends since Kindergarten, Jill and Kara formed an inseparable bond! Jill‘s parents, Jane and Joe, were like another set of parents to Kara. Jill and Kara, along with other bridesmaid, Courtney, who lived in the neighborhood next to theirs, rode the bus together and watched Friends and played Mario Kart every day after school. Eventually, they both realized their love for singing. From school talent shows to trips to Arizona when Jill moved away in 7th grade, they've remained in each other's lives. Jill is now a nurse in PA and married to her husband, Corey!
Groomsman
Ross' main man through his time living in Seattle, Robert and Ross go way back!! After Ross moved to Seattle mid-school year, he was looking for friends. Somehow or another, Ross and Robert ended up throwing books at each other in 5th grade and have been friends ever since. Rob has hiked from the border of Mexico all the way up to the border of Canada on the pacific crest trail, and currently lives in Hawaii where he enjoys fishing on the beach and hopes to attend school soon in the medical field.
Groomsman
Ross transferred colleges to Belmont and had to be placed with a random roommate, whereas most sophomores had already chosen theirs. Meanwhile, Cameron and Ross were randomly paired together. They ended up bonding instantly over football and gaming and decided to live together again after that year. Even though Cameron now lives in Washington State with his girlfriend, Kristina, after graduating from University of Houston for social work, they still hang out daily online.
Groomsman
Sam, Ross, Kara and bridesman, Garrett, all lived together at the onset of quarantine and quickly became a family. While Kara and Garrett would often talk for hours on end, Sam and Ross were the calm ones in the house, bonding over sports and a similar taste in music. Sam’s calm nature is also joined by no shortage of charm or whit. Sam and Garrett often jokingly referred to the bride and groom as "Mom and Dad" and still do to this day. They'll always be a family! Sam graduated from University of Maryland and now works in the nonprofit world, helping young students succeed. He plans to attend graduate school soon to work his way into public policy!
Groomsman
Ross is excited to gain another brother in Kara's brother, Chace! Always taking care of Kara and being the best older brother as they grew up, Chace continues to help people every day as a nurse. He also has quite a green thumb these days! He has five precious girls (aka the cutest future flower girls!) with his wife, Kylie.
Groomsman
Eric a.k.a. "Randy" was practically the honorary third roommate with other groomsmen, Cameron, and Ross sophomore year of college. They decided to make it official the following year by all living together in a rundown house that is now no longer in existence after living there. Eric graduated top of his class from Belmont Law in 2020 and will almost certainly bail out Ross or Cameron from legal trouble at some point in their lives.
Groomswoman
Kat is the sister of groomsman, Deuce. The Whitfields and the McCorkles are family, as Kat and Ross refer to each other as cousins. Kat, Ross and Deuce used to spend countless hours late at night watching Beat Bobby Flay on the cooking channel and were inseparable for most of their high school years. When Ross got his wisdom teeth out, Kat would bring him his favorite coffee ice cream and watch the Pittsburgh Pirates lose together. Kat taught Ross how to cook and he still makes some Kat Whitfield originals to this day. Kat has a huge heart for people, as she has spent time working with pregnant women without homes and then later with at-risk youth in the Seattle area, where she still lives now.
Groomsman
Deuce and Ross grew up in church small group together and are both extreme night owls. All the best conversations happen after 2:00am. They convinced everyone at their church that they were cousins, and failed to mention it was a joke. Their parents defected from a church small group at the same time and formed a four person group affectionately known as the "wee" group which led to both families spending countless holidays and gatherings together. Ross used to sneak out of his 6th period piano class early to go get coffee with Deuce every week (sorry mom). Deuce is now a pastor in the same high school ministries that him and Ross attended together and is newly married to his wonderful wife, Angela.
