FAQs

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is formal attire. We invite guests to dress in elegant full-length gowns or chic cocktail dresses, and suits with a tie or black-tie optional.

Question

Can I bring a guest/date?

Answer

We can only accommodate the guests listed on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding and the reception is for adults only. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

When do we need to RSVP by?

Answer

Kindly RSVP by July 15, 2026 — we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When should I book the hotel and travel accomodations?

Answer

We encourage you to book accommodations as soon as possible. Our wedding falls on Labor Day weekend, which is a busy time in Lake George. Many hotels (including those we’ve listed on our site) may require a two-night minimum stay and/or have higher nightly rates. Additionally, an annual car show will be taking place in the village that weekend, bringing more visitors, traffic, and limited hotel availability. To ensure you have the best options, we recommend securing your reservations early.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5pm, so we kindly request you arrive 30 minutes early to assure you don't miss anything. This will also give you time to park, be transported down to the ceremony site, and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you will not be seated and will have to wait until cocktail hour to enter. Thank you for understanding.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like, and don't forget to share them with us!
