I met Saleem through Kara's friend Suphora. If it weren't for his active duty, I would not have met Kara. Did I loose you? Let me tell you a quick story. Saleem is Suphora's husband, Suphora went to Dubai to visit Saleem who was in active duty in Iraq. Suphora asked Kara to go to Dubai with her. So, Saleem going to Iraq, caused Suphora to fly to Duabai who brought Kara. Whenever I flew to New York to visit Kara, the Newsomes welcomed me into their home and Sunday dinner at the Newsomes is a real treasure. I knew Saleem and I would be good friends when we had a close call with the law. (Karens really do exisits)
