Our story begins during the global pandemic of 2020. We both decided online dating was the only way to meet people during quarantine as the normal ways were not an option. Kara liked matt on Hinge & he couldn’t help but like her back … a match was made in such a big way. To say the rest is history is cliche, but we are currently planning our wedding 😂. They decided after everything opened back up they would meet in person to make sure this match was indeed a proper match & they didn’t hate each other in person! The infamous first date was at Ally Cat in the Flats where they shared oysters & lots of laughs. By the end of the night we were holding hands on a bench by the water and staring at the moon. A first kiss and second date were written in the stars that night ✨!! They continued to date & get to know each other better … Matt cooked for Kara to win her heart. But the true test was in her best friends approvals. After a few Covid friendly hangouts & him proving his cooking skills with Tony, it was clear they loved him just as much as Kara, if not more 😂! As summer turned to Fall, and Fall turned to winter they continued to fall deeper in love and it was apparent from their happiness that it was a perfect match ♥️!! May 15, 2021, Matt got down on one knee and popped the big question 💍! Kara said yes, we’ll actually she said “omg is this really happening?!😳” and “what’s in that little box?!” 😂 And here we are … planning our dream wedding in beautiful Siesta Key 🏝!
