Piper and Kara's friendship started when they both met through their master's program (clinical mental health counseling). Among Piper and Kara's favorite things to do when they are not busy studying is to go to Applebee's for half-price appetizers after late night classes.

Kara and her mom have fun no matter what they are doing. They love to travel, play scrabble, and watch musicals and live performances. They recently took a trip to Mrytle Beach, SC were some unexpected things happened, but they had a blast!

Kara and her dad share a love for the outdoors and cooking. Kara also enjoys helping her dad with his garden every year (although, she does not eat most of the vegetables in the garden).
