What time is the wedding?

The church is giving us the boot at 8:00? is there an after party??

Answer

Yes! those 21 and up are invited to meet up at Zog's down the road. The address is 587 6th Ave, Fox Island, WA 98333. YES, that is the gas station address. YES, you walk through the gas station market to get to the bar. BUT we promise It Is Worth It. ;-) Zog's will close at 10 pm out of respect for the neighbors.

Where will we be eating?

Answer

The reception is in the back yard of the chapel. You may want sunglasses if it's nice out. If you find yourself too hot or cold, there will be space in the basement as well. If it rains, there will be tenting and basement seating.

Will this be a vaccinated event?

Answer

Yes. We ask that you RSVP "yes" only if you will be up to date with CDC recommended vaccinations for COVID-19. We have requested that our catering staff be vaccinated employees only.

Do we need to come in person?

Answer

No. We absolutely respect your decision to send well wishes in lieu of attending. If we have interest, we can also set up a livestream for the ceremony.

Where should we stay?

The closest cities to the chapel are Gig Harbor and Tacoma. We've listed some recommendations for lodging on the Travel page.

What's the nearest airport?

Answer

Sea-Tac is about 30 minutes north of Tacoma and 40 minutes from Gig Harbor (in good traffic. Give yourself twice as long in bad traffic).

Due to the small size of the venue, partners will be by invitation only. Thank you for understanding!

Do we need to book a ferry to the island?

Answer

No. There is a bridge! No ferry wait necessary.

is there a toll to get back from the wedding venue?

Answer

Yes. There is a toll to cross the Narrows Bridge (a.k.a. Galloping Gertie) going back east to Tacoma. Ask if your rental car comes with a "Good to Go" pass. If it does not, the price is $6.25 with cash.
