Kara's friend since kindergarten Kara and Sophia were coerced to become friends in kindergarten because their older sisters' became best friends, but little did they know they would too become the best of friends.

Tyler and John have been best friends since early in grade school. He has a cool middle name. During the roller hockey days he either made John look real good at hockey or look like a bender (meaning not so good at hockey) and I'll take that. Not many people have beat them in cornhole or any yard games for that matter.

Kara's college suitemate Mackenzie and Kara met at PBAU as college suitemates. They became fast friends with a friendship that lasted through college and beyond!

Clay is Adam's cousin. Their family has taken John in as family, especially while John was at school in Arkansas. Clay and John hit it off right away when John first went down to Fayetteville. They have composed great playlists, some of which may be heard during the reception. They spent a lot of time practicing self-defense mechanisms and studied a lot of UFC film together to perfect their craft.

Kara's soon-to-be sister in-law and longtime friend From best friends to sisters - Alyssa and Kara grew up together as family friends - Alyssa married Lucas Herrell (John's older brother) while Kara will be married to John!

During John's time at Arkansas Jamie and John got close when John joined the Arkansas crew. Jamie has been Clay's best friend since early in grade school. Jamie and John bonded well together because Jamie is a great sales man and is an easy person to talk to, relate with, and compete with.

Kara's roommate and longtime friend Emily is the mutual connection between Kara and John, as she introduced them to one another way back in grade school! Emily and Kara have been close friends for over 15 years and are now roomies!

John and Ethan met in high school. He is the provider. Since junior year of high school, the guys have made weekly trips to Ethan's house. We have run through a lot of boat fuel and he doesn't ask for help, he just asks that we show up. His friendship is something special and has kept this group of guys real close.

Kara's college friend Anna and Kara met through mutual friends in college at PBAU and became closer and closer as years went on. Anna and Kara are always visiting one another and travelling together!

Caleb and John first met in the fall of 2020 and that same winter, later found out that they were going to be roommates. I believe we met each other at a purposeful time in each of our lives. We were roommates at Arkansas for almost 2 years and built a quick and strong relationship. Caleb is part of the Arkansas crew and has a contagious way of spreading care and motivation.

Kara's college suitemate Skylar and Kara were suitemates at PBAU and were roommates 2 summers ago in Nashville, TN together. Skylar and Kara always have fun adventures together - nights out and day trips and discovering new places to eat and drink!

Noah and John have been friends since high school and have spent too many to count weekends at Lake Tishomingo. There's a shared competition with Adam, the two of them are the life of the party and I feed off their energy.

Kara's close friend Laura and Kara met in high school at a church youth group where they became close friends quickly. Laura is like another sister to Kara - joining Kara for trips and vacations and always being a friend who is there.

Ricky is Ethan's cousin and the reason John and Ricky met. Ricky grew on John over many years and became close after spending so much time together at the lake. Ricky is not the life of the party, but has to be there if you want the party to be worth your while.

Kara's new niece Kylee is John's niece and soon to be Kara's, as well, however since they are so close in age, they have become friends, as well! Kara and Kylee had similar engagement periods, so they bond over wedding planning and future endeavors!

Collin and John met because he was Kylee's boyfriend, now fiancé. There's nothing not to like about Collin and that's why he and John became real great friends. He is the ideal role model on how to be a gentleman and fiancé. I would hope and imagine Kylee agrees.
