Lacamas Lake
Great for hiking, biking, SUP, swimming, BBQ, playgrounds and views.
Cottonwood Beach
Great for fetch, swimming, walking and views. Also connected to the waterfront path that extends from a nature preserve all the way to PDX.
Beacon Rock State Park
Day pass or WA parks pass required. Excellent spot for SUP, hiking, camping, BBQ and views. I almost got married here but the cell service is very spotty and weather can be windy here at times.
Shopping in PDX
Tax free! Check out Washington Square mall as well as Buffalo Exchange, Crossroads and many other unique thrift shops (Hawthorn, downtown and many others). There's also great antiques and second hand furniture scattered around as well.
