FAQs

Question

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is garden cocktail attire. Our ceremony and reception will be outdoors on grass, so please choose footwear suitable for lawn surfaces. Kindly skip jeans and stilettos.

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, we ask that this remain an adults only celebration.

Question

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures on the beach nearby. There will be some down time in between but we recommend checking out some of our favorite spots listed on the the Things to Do page. Please plan for the 45 minute drive out to Chilton. Cocktail hour will start at 4:00 pm.

Question

Where should I park for the reception?

Answer

Parking near the reception will be limited. Please plan to park at one of the following nearby parking lots: Horst Distributing, one of the nearby car dealerships, or the Tractor Supply parking lot. We will be providing a map to be more clear as the date gets closer. Plan to drop people off and carpool if possible as there will be a short walk to our reception.

Question

Will food be served?

Answer

During our cocktail hour we will be providing appetizers. Dinner will be served at 6:30 with various options from one of our favorite restaurants, Heritage 71.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We are happy to accommodate any dietary restrictions. Please make a note of it when you RSVP.

Question

Where should I stay? Is there a hotel block of rooms?

Answer

If you plan to stay over in Chilton, we recommend staying at the Best Western or an Airbnb. Please plan to book sooner than later as a lot in the area is already booked for that weekend. We currently do not have a block of rooms due to prior reservations.
