What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Guests are kindly asked to arrive by 3:00pm for a 3:30pm ceremony start. We recommend arriving early to ensure you’re seated before the ceremony begins.

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask to please RSVP by 30th of April so we can organise head counts.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your invitation includes you and your partner. Due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we’re unable to accommodate additional guests.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

All-black, semi-formal attire. We kindly ask guests to wear black only (no colours or prints) to keep a cohesive look for the day. Think cocktail-style, dressy, and comfortable. Dress code examples can be found on the Dress Code page.

Can I wear something other than black?

Answer

We’d love everyone to stick to the all-black dress code to keep the look consistent.

Will the ceremony be outdoors?

Answer

Yes - our ceremony will be held outdoors. Ladies, please take note for your footwear as there may be grass which pointed heels dig into. Reception will be taken place indoors.

What happens if it rains?

We have a backup plan in place and will keep you updated if needed.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Parking in the city is limited, so please allow extra time for the ceremony. There is limited street parking and nearby car parks around the Botanical Gardens. Carpool will make it easier! For the reception, there is a car park located directly opposite the apartments with approximately $7 evening parking, as well as other nearby options.

Please get in touch with Kara and Drew for any allergies. For any dietary preferences, please include any dietary requirements when you RSVP.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Ceremony We kindly ask that our ceremony be an unplugged moment. Please refrain from taking photos or videos during this time so everyone can be fully present, and our photographer can capture the moment without distraction 🤍 Reception You’re very welcome to take as many photos and videos as you’d like during the reception! We love the idea of everyone capturing the fun and memories from the night. We will also have disposable cameras available for guests to use throughout the evening!

We’re keeping the celebration small, so we’re only able to include those listed on the invitation.
