Finally Getting married!!!

On a cold January night in Cincinnati, OH at the church building at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints I was attending Family Home Evening for Young Single Adults. (When there are a lot of Single people in an area they form a congregation and then about every Monday night we would get together for a spiritual thought and an activity.) It was nearing the end of the night and I noticed the girl that I rode with was talking to the missionaries. I left to get my coat; I came back into the room that we were all in for the activity and he saw me and was like "oh I should go say hi." He introduced himself and we started talking. Then the night grew old and we had to say bye at the time of 9 o'clock. Then as we were leaving the parking lot my friend and I both added him on Facebook. The next day he was so captivated by me he messaged me. It changed both of our lives for the better.

It was on Thanksgiving we had just got done watching the parade Thanksgiving dinner at my house. We were on our way back to his place when he decided to take a detour. I thought he just wanted to take a light stroll through the levee close to his house. We kept walking when we found a bench. I thought we were just going to sit down before we were going to start our stride back to the car. I sit down then he comes in front of me and tells me to come to him. I get up and he tells me to close my eyes. I close my eyes and I was able to feel him get down on one knee as he was holding my hand. He says open. I open my eyes and I see him down on one knee holding the ring and he says "Kara Nicole Chastain will you marry me?" I was so excited it finally happened I said "YES!" We then embraced. We stood there for a few minutes then decided to walk back to the car. It was cold after all.
