We're getting married!!

I first saw him on my graduation cruise from college in 1999. I was with my girls when this guy was just always around. It is a cruise ship, so there are not a lot of hiding places. We hung out a few times on the cruise and then parted ways and said our goodbyes. A few months later I received a phone call and who knew the sparks that would follow. After a year of dating and living in separate states (me in Tennessee and him in Louisiana) it was time to decide what was next. Will we continue to date, pursue marriage or end it all? Well life got in the way and we separated. So, I decided to move back to my beloved Virginia to start my career. Fast forward to 2014 when a conversation on FaceBook stirred up some old feelings. We were both older, had our careers and knew what we wanted from a spouse. It was obvious that this was our time. And on my birthday in 2016, he made me the happiest girl around. There were no theatrics, just a man who chose someone to love forever.
