We're getting married... again!

It was Superbowl Sunday and Kara's roommate invited her to a party... Clayton was grilling burgers for everyone and immediately when Kara walked in he knew that he wanted to talk to her. While he thought that he was being cool, Kara thought that he had no interest in her at all... Flash forward a few weeks later and Clayton had successfully wooed Kara and became the rebound that stuck around (in his words). Clayton was so persistent and sweet, always asking Kara to go on dates with him. Eventually this became routine, with Clayton picking Kara up in his Bronco and driving to Montana de Oro to walk along the tide pools and Kara slowly but surely fell for him.... all of a sudden they had graduated together, moved to Santa Cruz, got a puppy, bought a house, got a second puppy, and got married!! We were married in our backyard on 10.10.2020 and are so excited to be able to finally celebrate our marriage with you all this year. We welcomed our newest addition to the family on May 14, 2021, our baby girl Remi. She is the light of our lives and the most beautiful blessing to come from the past year

It was a lazy Sunday morning with no plans except to take the dogs on a walk, but all morning Clayton kept asking Kara "Are you ready to go yet? Don't you think we should head out soon? When will you be ready? Five minutes?".... Finally Kara gave in and got ready to go and was excited when she found out they would be going to Seascape Bluffs, their favorite walking path. Clayton wanted to walk over to one of the lookout points because it was such a beautiful day. As they approached the lookout point, Clayton slowed down as Kara looked over the bluff and she heard Clayton behind her say "Kara?". As she turned around, she saw Clayton on one knee and the rest is history! Later that night they celebrated with a 5 course dinner that Clayton had arranged... it was perfect! We can't wait to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you all! See you in San Diego!
