We met at the beginning of the pandemic, initially two strangers living across the country from each other. Kara was in Dallas, Texas, and Chadwick was in Oxford, Mississippi. We both drove down to Florida to spend a week at the beach with a few of our mutual friends. The first day we met, Chadwick agreed to go on a “short” run with Kara, which turned out to be seven miles. We spent more time walking than running, but the rest, as they say, is history.
Chadwick dropped down on one knee and asked Kara to marry him on a sunny November afternoon in Rosemary Beach, Florida in the same place, on the same grass, under the same sun where we had first met. Only God could weave together a story like this. Every prayer we have ever prayed about our future spouses have been faithfully answered in abundance. We are humbled and so thankful to Jesus for this gift. It was the best day of our lives so far, but we know it is only going to get better. We are so grateful for all of the love and prayers that our family and friends have poured on us, and we are so excited for....OCTOBER 23, 2021!!!!
