Things To Do

We are so excited to share a few of our favorite places with you! Below you'll find a few recommendations on hikes and restaurants around Bend, Oregon. Brasada Ranch itself has much to offer, including golf, swimming pools, restaurants, and best of all, pickleball courts. The city of Bend is one of our favorite cities to stroll around (hence why we're getting married close-ish to there). Downtown Bend offers many shops, restaurants, breweries and wineries. You can easily spend an afternoon here. We love grabbing coffee and pastries from the Looney Bean and walking through Drake Park. Riverbend Park is another favorite place of ours to walk along the Deschutes River. We are expecting lots of sunshine, so for any water lovers, you can also float the Deschutes River. Sahalie & Koosah Falls

McKenzie River Drive, McKenzie Bridge, OR 97413

A favorite hike of ours and only an hour and a half drive from Brasada Ranch. There are multiple routes you can take to make it as long or as short of a hike as you want. The waterfalls should be flowing at this time. The trail goes along the McKenzie River, a beautiful hike all around!

Tumalo Falls

Another beautiful waterfall and only an hour drive from Brasada Ranch. Tumalo Falls is a short walk from the parking lot with views from below and above. This is another hike you can make as long or as short as you want.

Green Lakes Trailhead

Fall Creek Trail, OR 97703

Looking for a longer hike? Green lakes trail is just over 9 miles long. The terrain is not difficult, there is not much elevation gain, and you get the best of both worlds, mountain views and alpine lakes! Day use permits are required, so plan in advance at recreation.gov.

No Name Lake

Blue River, OR 97413

A great 5.5 mile hike with elevation. Only an hour and a half drive from Brasada Ranch. This hike gets you up close views of Broken Top and The Three Sisters Mountains.

Smith Rock State Park

Only a 30 minute drive from Brasada Ranch, Smith Rock has multiple trails to hike.

We might hype this place up too much, but Bo's is a must stop for us every time we visit Bend. We recommend the house chicken sandwich, spicy version and always the fries. (We are not affiliated but feel like we should be).
