While there will be parking lot construction taking place during our celebration, there will still be plenty of parking! There are limited space available directly in front of the venue at Harbor Brook Hall. We ask that you kindly reserve these spaces for those that have a bit more trouble getting around. Cars parked in this lot must be moved by 8am on Sunday. Additional free parking is also available behind the Speedway Gas Station at the TART Trail trailhead. It is about a 3-5 minute walk from the venue. For those that are staying in one of our nearby hotel room blocks, we highly recommend parking at your hotel and walking to the reception. As much as we love all of the children in our lives, due to space constraints, we have decided to keep our ceremony and reception adults-only with the exception of immediate family.
We’d love for our guests to join us in cocktail attire. Gentlemen, please wear a suit or blazer with dress pants. Ladies, a midi-length cocktail dress or dressy separates would be ideal. We ask that you avoid all shades of white as it's reserved for the bride. For those that are curious, our bridesmaids will be dressed in blue. Please feel free to join us in the color scheme!
Northern Michigan weather is spectacularly unpredictable, though September is typically beautiful. Temperatures can range from 50-70 degrees, so please check the forecast and plan accordingly! Both our ceremony and reception will take place indoors with access to beautiful outdoor spaces if the weather allows.
While there are some Ubers and Lyfts in Traverse City, they can often be difficult to come by. We highly recommend that you either utilize one of the hotels on the "Travel & Hotel" page (which are all within walking distance!) or have a plan for a safe and sober drive at the end of the night.
The Cherry Capital Airport (TVC) is a short 5-10 minute drive from our wedding festivities; however, the Grand Rapids (GRR) and Detroit (DTW) airports are also viable options but will require a rental car for transportation. For more information, please visit the "Hotels & Travel" page.
