When is the wedding?

Answer

Our ceremony will begin at 4 pm eastern time. Please note, all guests who are able will take the chairlift to the ceremony location. Please plan to arrive at least 20–30 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for the ride up.

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, weather permitting our wedding ceremony will be at the top of Crystal Mountain. It could be a bit chilly or windy so please plan accordingly. Those willing and able will take the chair lift to the top. Reception will follow at the base under the tent. For those unable to use a chairlift, a shuttle will be made available.

Are children invited?

Although we adore your children, we’ve elected to limit our ceremony and reception to adults only.

Why a Friday?

Answer

We are understand that a Friday wedding in far away northern Michigan is not convenient for most of our guests. However, weddings tend to go by so fast. We decided to have our wedding on a Friday in hopes that folks will hang around after the party and we can spend extra time with our loved ones over the weekend.

What should we do on Saturday?

Answer

Crystal Mountain and the Thompsonville area have a lot of activities from a relaxing spa, to mountain biking, hiking, golf, tennis, and more! We are planning to spend the weekend ourselves and will include information on our planned itinerary closer to the wedding. We would love to spend extra time with you.
