Nate and I met at Sam and Lexie's wedding at the Hitching Post in Lake Park, MN. I was a bridesmaid, and Nate was a guest; Nate is Lexie's first cousin, and I am Sam's sister. During the dance, Nate approached me and we started talking. Then he asked me to dance when a Frank Sinatra song started playing. We connected right away, and I thought he was so sweet and charming. We ended up going on our first date two days after the wedding, and the rest is history. We now live in the beautiful town of Winona, MN with our dog, Bubba, and rabbit, Momo. I am a high school science teacher at Cotter Schools, and Nate has his own business, Inspired Painters, for interior and exterior house painting services.
