Matron of Honor
My best friend, ride or die, and common law wife after 12 years of cohabitation and chaos. Taylor is my built-in therapist, fellow Swiftie, and the one who always knows when I need a pep talk, a reality check, or just a night of screaming bridge lyrics in the car! She gets things done, keeps me grounded, and helped set DJ and me up. So you could say this whole wedding is kind of her fault. I wouldn’t want to do this without her and honestly, after all these years, I’m not sure I legally could.
Best Man
My best friend since 3rd grade—our friendship began in the most unexpected way: with an argument on the playground. Little did we know that our friendship would flourish and we would become more than a best friends, but a brothers for life. Always there to listen and never one to say no to a good adventure, which has got us in a couple tough situations. He’s been with me through some of the lowest lows and the highest highs.
Bridesmaid
Katie is my sister-in-law, but more importantly, she’s the sister I always hoped for (sorry Drew). She has the kindest heart, a calming presence, and is always ready with a listening ear (and the best advice). Whether we’re laughing over something ridiculous or sharing life’s real moments, Katie is the kind of person who makes everything feel lighter. I’m so lucky to have her by my side—on this day and always.
Groomsman
I met Kyler through mutual friends in Austin, and we quickly became inseparable—weekends out, endless golf rounds, dinners with friends, and a lot of laughs. He’s the kind of person who brings out the best in every moment and always opened up his home to me, I was basically his third roommate. Even in a short time, he’s become one of my closest friends, and someone I could look to for life advice. He even had a hand in Kara and I meeting that New Years Eve weekend.
Bridesmaid
One of my very first college friends and still one of the truest. Even though we haven’t lived in the same city since graduation, time and distance haven’t stood a chance against our friendship. MK is the voice of reason, the calm in the chaos, and always just a text away. Her steady presence and loyal heart mean the world to me and I’m so grateful she’s here for this chapter, too.
Groomsman
Our friendship began in college at Arkansas Tech, even though we were in different fraternities. Through campus events and mutual friends, we quickly formed a strong bond that lasted throughout our college years. He’s always been someone I could count on—someone who’s had my back and could always bring a smile to my face, no matter the situation.
Bridesmaid
Madison has been by my side since she ran to the Theta lawn her freshman year and became my little sister but really, she’s been more like family ever since. From college memories to adventures across the map, we’ve shared so much life together. She’s the travel planner I always turn to and the friend who always makes time for me no matter how busy life gets.
Groomsman
Josh and I met in college through Kappa Sigma and quickly became close friends. From lifting at Max Nutrition to watching Jersey Shore and enjoying dinners at his mom’s house, we shared some great memories and continue to do so well after our college days.
Officiant
Drew is my little brother and one of my best friends. We grew up arguing over everything but somewhere along the way, we traded constant fighting for constant laughter (with just a tiny bit of bickering still in the mix). He’s charismatic, quick-witted, and someone who knows us both so well, which makes him the perfect person to help us start this next chapter.
