Tennyson St. is a great spot for restaurants and some light shopping. Some of our Favorites are Call Your Mother (Bagels), Legacy Pie Co., Huckleberry Roasters (coffee), Atomic Cowboy, Bakery Four, and PARISI (Italian). Though it's hard to go wrong with just about any restaurant in that stretch.
There's tons of restaurants and bars you can walk to from Union Station. Brunch: Tupelo Honey, The Original, Snooze Drinks: Tap Fourteener Rooftop, Wynkoop Brewing Company (Great for Pool), Tom's Watch Bar, Icehouse
Great Area for Dinner, just across the highway and River from downtown Denver. Food: Acova (Gluten Free), Bar Dough, Tacos Tequila Whiskey, Blue Pan Pizza, Odell's Bagel Drinks: Avanti Rooftop, Recess Beer Garden, Zuni St Brewing Company Ice Cream: Little Man Ice Cream, Sweet Cow
An old warehouse neighborhood converted to a trendy bar and restaurant neighborhood near downtown. Drinks: Improper City, Stem Ciders, Bierstadt Lagerhaus (oversized games), Ratio Beerworks, Odell Brewing
Washington Park, Cherry Creek, and Platt Park are all Closer to the Venue & Hotel, Platt Park: OTOTO (sushi), Tokyo Premium Bakery, Platt Park Brewing Washington Park: Homegrown Tap & Dough, Bonnie Brae Ice Cream Cherry Creek: Also a place with restaurants, but I haven't been to any
Chief Mountain - Feel Like Your On top of the Mountains with stunning views of Mt. Blue Sky and the Continental Divide (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/chief-mountain-trail) cons: kind of far away, high altitude, you're going up Mt. Morrison - tough but rewarding, you get great views of Red Rocks, Denver, and the beautiful snow capped Rockies. One of Ben's All time favorite hikes(https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/mount-morrison-south-ridge-trail) cons: you're going up very quickly, three points of contact required Red Rocks - A Crowd Pleaser, you can drive, walk, or mix the two (just don't drive into the stands). There's a museum and really big rocks. I recommend the Overlook Trail (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/colorado/geological-overlook-trail) cons: they might kick you out if there's a show that evening Mt. Falcon - Who put this parking lot on top of this mountain? wait, there's ruins and a tower up here too? https://maps.app.goo.gl/JWgqDPBMZ8uTmg6AA
Tony Rigatoni's! This is not a joke, Tony knows his stuff The Cow An Eatery; I promise this isn't another joke, they've got soft serve and they aren't afraid to use it Red Rocks Beer Garden; It is as advertised and has good beer and cider (I think?) You know what, maybe you should just swing by Golden while you're out that way. There's some fun stuff there too.
Alright, so here's the move: you go park at New Terrain Brewing Company. Then Walk right on through the parking lot past the brewery. Follow the trail out the back of the parking lot, walk across a quiet street and then you hike around on North Table Mountain. When you feel satisfied with your hike, you just head back, and you don't even have to drive to the brewery. It's Fool proof.
