Leah Kaplan and Shane Jones have lived happily together in NYC for the last 7 years. In April 2020, they added a new member to their little family. Rees Doodle Jones was born on February 15th, 2020 and 8 weeks later came to his furever home in Downtown Brooklyn with Leah and Shane. These days you can usually find the three of them taking long walks to the Brooklyn Bridge Pier 6 Dog Park and stopping for many a coffee at Blue Bottle. Later in 2020, on New Years Eve, Shane proposed to Leah during a hike in Scottsdale, AZ. The only person who knew about the proposal beforehand was Shane’s brother, Justin (the Best Man), who was able to take pictures that Leah and Shane will cherish forever. The first person they called after getting engaged was Leah’s sister Serena (the Maid of Honor) and her now fiancé Peter. They returned to Shane’s family home and told his parents before Leah’s Mom, Dad and Step Mom came over to ring in the new year as a family. Leah and Shane feel so blessed to have such amazing families that come together to celebrate the big and small life moments. Leah and Shane are so excited to embark on their next adventure of marriage. They are delighted and grateful to be sharing this special day with all of you, and can’t imagine a better way to begin their lives together as Husband and Wife.
