We met in 2013 during move-in at Syracuse University. We lived just three doors down from each other and ended up in the same icebreaker group at our first floor meeting. From that point on, we were pretty much inseparable - spending most of our time outside of class together, going on campus adventures, having late-night laughs, and always finding an excuse to hang out. At the time, we were both in relationships, but there was always something there—something easy and familiar that never really went away. After Syracuse, we stayed in touch here and there, always slipping right back into that same effortless rhythm. In 2018, we met up for lunch and took a walk on the beach. What started as a simple catch-up turned into hours of talking… then a movie night… then a dozen more. Before we even realized it, our friendship had naturally grown into something more, and it felt like the most obvious thing in the world. By 2019, we made it official. We got engaged in one of our favorite places, with one of us (Alexa) nearly ruining the surprise by thinking we’d have to photograph the moment ourselves. Luckily, everything had already been perfectly planned - including Nicole secretly standing by to capture it all. Now, we’re getting married - and we can’t wait to celebrate with all the people who’ve been part of our story along the way.
