Late Summer 2016, Michael and Lindsey crossed paths during a weekend long retreat at Serenbe (yes, a farm, crazy right) while training to become certified to staff Birthright trips to Israel. After a weekend long adventure (and Michael carefully eating every meal beside Lindsey), numbers were exchanged and the first date took place the very next weekend at Pour Bistro for a glass of wine (or two). Low and behold, Lindsey didn’t realize it was a date until being asked to the second, a hike up Stone Mountain to catch a glimpse of the Atlanta Skyline (confessing all of this to Michael while hiking). Three and a half years later and after discovering a mutual love of salmon, salad, red wine, and traveling, the couple has adventured up and down the East and West Coast, bought a house, and visited all of the top 20 ATL foodie hotspots. If you don’t see them strolling the belt line or at Piedmont Park, you’ll likely find them at the Brookhaven Village for dinner on the town (yes, really) or watching a rom com on the couch at home (Michael’s favorite). Michael popped the question to Lindsey on June 13, 2019, at the iconic Piedmont Park --- and Lindsey said yes! ---------- We are so looking forward to starting this new chapter together, and can’t wait to celebrate with our closest friends and family on September 4, 2021, at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens!
