The Perkins

Kristin and Aaron started talking when they matched on Facebook dating. After exchanging a few messages online, Kristin gave Aaron her number and they talked off and on for a few months before they went on their first date. After bouncing ideas around, they both decided on movies and dinner. Kristin decided on the movie Suicide Squad because she hadn’t seen it and picked a movie theater that was midpoint between Riverside and Inglewood, so to Victoria Gardens they went. There were butterflies in the air and butterflies in their stomachs anticipating to meet each other in person for the first time. When they laid eyes on each other, they both had the biggest smiles on their faces. While watching the movie, Aaron told Kristin he had already seen it, but didn’t mind watching it again with her because she really wanted to see it, then he grabbed and held her hand. After the movie, Aaron walked to his car and grabbed a bouquet of flowers for Kristin before walking her to her car. They got into their cars and drove to go get Aaron’s favorite food…SUSHI! When they arrived at the restaurant, Aaron brought out another bouquet of flowers and said “ I didn’t know which ones you would like so I bought them both.” During dinner they talked and asked each other questions until the restaurant looked like it was about to close. Aaron walked Kristin to her car. Both didn’t want the date to end, but it was getting late. They said their goodbyes and that was the beginning to their love story. Two months after their first date, Aaron asked Kristin to be his girlfriend.

On Easter they decided to have a cute little picnic at the park. During the picnic, Kristin could tell something was going on by how Aaron kept moving around and the random conversations they were having. Aaron said he had to go use the restroom, so they started packing up to leave. As Kristin was walking she noticed he wasn’t next to her so she turned around to look for him and there he was on one knee. He was so nervous it was so cute. Kristin’s response? “Shut up really?” Aaron gave her a confused look and said “yeah.” Then of course she said Yes! When they arrived back to the house, her brother and cousin already knew what happened because Aaron told them earlier that day it was going to happen. Later that night, Kristin asked Aaron when did he know she was the one. He said he knew after their first date that he wanted to marry her.

Kristin is a social butterfly who loves being outside. She’s always hanging out with her family and friends making new memories. She’s so bubbly and can talk to anyone she meets and it’s never a dull moment around her. If you’re looking for Kristin, you can catch her outside with Starbucks in her hand probably heading to Target bumping music super loud. Aaron is the complete opposite. He’s usually inside playing the game, watching Anime(his favorite), or sleeping. He’s also a huge goof ball and if the music is good to him you can definitely catch him doing his signature dance. He has a laugh that’s so contagious, you can’t help, but laugh with him no matter if you know what he’s laughing about. If you’re looking for Aaron, you can find him in the room focused on his game then going to take a nap right after.
