“Good morning, how are you doing?” texted Kanwal. Taking a chance, Kanwal decided to shoot her shot with someone she had admired from afar. Arslan replied, “Who is this?” Kanwal quickly responded, “Oops, sorry, messaged the wrong person… but hi this is Kanwal.” What began as a playful introduction in 2011 soon grew into a friendship that truly blossomed into love, respect, and admiration for one another. From navigating each other’s professional goals to cheering one another on through every milestone, we quickly became each other’s greatest supporters. Through every challenge, every success, and every ordinary moment in between, our bond only grew stronger. Together, we’ve built a life full of adventure, laughter, and love. Traveling to new places and always making sure to seek out the best hiking spots, even with a sprained knee (Hello, Sedona!). We’ve made date nights out of exploring Chicago’s ever-expanding food scene, always on the hunt for the next favorite restaurant. But no matter how busy life gets or where life takes us, we always make time for the people who matter most, our loved ones, especially our niece and nephews, who bring us endless joy. Over time, our friendship became the foundation of a beautiful partnership, one filled with shared dreams, endless conversations, spontaneous adventures, and the comfort of knowing we had found home in each other. Now, as we begin this next chapter, we are excited to continue building a life rooted in faith, love, family, and friendship. We are grateful to celebrate this special moment with the people we love most and cannot wait to create more memories together!
