The wedding will be taking place in Isabela, Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is a US territory, which means that a passport is NOT required to travel here.
Spanish is the official language in Puerto Rico. Though many people do speak English, it is always considered polite to speak Spanish when you can! Try to familiarize yourself with some basic Spanish phrases such as: Buenos Dias - Good day Por Favor - Please Gracias - Thank You Si - Yes no - no Buenos Noches - Good Night Me podrias traer una medalla, por favor- Could you bring me a Medalla (local beer) , please? Yes! The dress code is Cocktail Attire. The wedding is entirely outdoors, so dress for 75-80 degree weather. The ceremony and cocktail hour will take place on the lawn, so be sure to consider what shoes will do best on the terrain.
RSVPs are required by November 1st 2025. The link to RSVP will be sent out on the formal invitations later in the year.
We highly recommend renting a car if you want to see all that the island has to offer. Uber is an option in Isabela, but it's not as prevalent as in the city so we recommend scheduling your Uber rides ahead of time. Public transportation is not an option on the west coast of the island.
The wedding is taking place during the high tourism season in Puerto Rico. If you want to stay at Villa Montaña Beach Resort, we recommend that you book your hotel room ASAP as it is a small boutique hotel and the venue has many weddings scheduled for January. Please see the "Travel" page for more information on booking through our hotel block. If you are choosing to stay at another hotel or AirBnB, we recommend that you book your accommodations at least 4 months before the trip to ensure that you have plenty of options. All Plus-Ones will be included on your individual invitations. If it is not stated on the invitation, then we are not able to accommodate your plus-one. We love all of your babies! While kids will be welcome at other wedding events leading up to/post wedding day, we unfortunately are not able to accommodate children on the wedding day. Please reach out to Kayla or Dante for reputable baby sitter recommendations for the night of the wedding.
Yes, there is parking available at Villa Montaña Beach Resort.
