We’re excited to celebrate with you!

For those who don’t know how we met, we first saw each other at a Korean BBQ restaurant back in December 2014. We were eating at two different tables, not knowing we would meet. For those people who don’t know Kristen, she has a very loud laugh, and I heard her from across the room. I went over to her table that made small talk. A few months later after that day, we reconnected and have been together since.

Our proposal story was one for the books. We went to Bainbridge that day to just to enjoy the scenery. Steven’s plan was to go to Kitsap State Park and pop the big question, but when we got there, the tide came in and there was no beach left. So his plan B was to drive all the way back to the Bainbridge ferry, beat the sun setting, and propose at Kerry Park during sunset. When we got to the ferry, there were a lot of people trying to get back into the city and most likely not going to make it to Kerry Park by the time that was planned. When we did get to the park, there were a ton of people, which made it seemed less inviting to propose. Steven found a spot that looked over the city and decided that this was the time to do it while there was a beautiful sunset. He asked the questions, there was plenty of laughter, but Sam said yes and we quickly put back on our masks.
