Our favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh! An all vegan Central European menu with a huge wine selection. Also listed as one of the New York Times' "50 places in America we’re most excited about right now." Reservations recommended.
The mineral and gemstone room is our favorite. An overall great museum with a variety of things to see!
A neighborhood filled with shops, markets, and restaurants. Sort of similar to Pike's Place Market in Seattle but with more of a ~Yinzer~ flair.
Another one of our favorite restaurants here in PGH and definitely one of the most beautiful. Definitely requires a reservation, especially to be seated in the outdoor garden.
Beautiful views of the skyline of Pittsburgh! And there is a historic inclined railway called the Duquesne Incline that offers rides from the top of the overlook to the bottom of the hill.
Butler Street is the main street in the neighborhood of Lawrenceville. Filled with cute shops, restaurants, bars, bakeries, and coffee shops! Some of our favorites: Banh Mi and Ti, La Gourmadine, Eleventh Hour Brewing, and Connive Coffee Roasting.
A beautiful cemetery founded in 1834 with beautiful architecture and a quiet getaway in the middle of the city. Alex and I love taking walks and seeing the history of the city!
Another beautiful neighborhood in the Northside of Pittsburgh. Streets are lined with beautiful historic row houses and cobblestone streets. Also the location of the contemporary art museum, the Mattress Factory, and Randyland which is another fun stop!
One of Frank Lloyd Wright's most famous houses, located about an hour outside of Pittsburgh. Totally worth the trip for the architecturally-obesessed! Kentuck Knob, another one of Wright's homes, is also close-by and worth the private tour.
