Tuscarora State Park
Nestled right in our backyard, Tuscarora State Park is a special spot for us. We take our dog, Eli, for walks here almost every day, enjoying the natural beauty of the trails and the peaceful lake views. Mason even planned to propose here, but Tuscarora had other plans—draining the lake to make repairs just in time to change the setting! Despite that, it remains a favorite place for us to relax, explore, and make memories.
Heisler's Cloverleaf Dairy Bar
One of our favorite summer spots, Heisler’s Cloverleaf Dairy in Tamaqua, PA, offers more than just amazing ice cream. Mason never misses a chance to hit up the driving range, while we both indulge in treats like the CMP, Black & White milkshake, or Cotton Candy ice cream. With mini-golf, stunning countryside views, and a family-friendly atmosphere, it’s a place where you can create sweet memories every year.
Jim Thorpe Visitors Center
Jim Thorpe, the "Switzerland of America"! Discover historic downtown with charming architecture, unique shops, and delightful dining. Take a scenic ride on the Lehigh Gorge Scenic Railway for breathtaking views of the Pocono Mountains. History buffs will love the Asa Packer Mansion Museum and the eerie Old Jail Museum.
