Like many people experiencing the pandemic, Mike and Tori met online. Both living in Philadelphia at the time, they matched on Tinder and had their first date on March 12, 2021. Mike had just gotten over the COVID-19 virus but still met Tori for a very bland dinner, as he still had no taste. Their first few dates included awkward mask wearing hellos and goodbyes and their fourth date was spent bowling, drinking beer pitchers, and laughing nonstop. The rest was history. Mike and Tori easily bonded over their love and passion for food. Mike loves cooking and Tori loves eating. It was a match made in heaven. The first meal Mike made for Tori was crab cakes and Tori knew she could eat like this forever. Their life continues to be filled with great meals and quality time together. Tori and Mike live in Philadelphia with their two kitties, Willow and Buffy. In their free time, they foster cats through a local rescue. Mike has fully embraced Tori's crazy cat lady life style and is now a cat father in his own right. When they aren't binging their favorite tv shows and exploring the city, Mike and Tori enjoy traveling and spending time with friends and family. They have both seamlessly fit into each other’s lives and knew they wanted to build a life together. Mike proposed to Tori on October 21, 2023 and it was the easiest yes of her life. They had planned a fun fall activity to look at the scarecrows at Peddler's village and Tori was pleasantly surprised to see Mike get down on one knee. Tori grew up going to Peddler's Village for the many seasonal events and it will now hold the best memory in her heart. Tori and Mike are looking forward to a future where they can always laugh together, travel, spend time with friends and family, and rescue lots and lots of cats (and maybe some puppies). They can't wait to spend the rest of their lives together and are looking forward to sharing this special day with all their loved ones.
